Best Homes Builders is a home builder based in Kochi, Kerala. We are the data fiduciary for the personal data described here. What we collect

Details you give us

When you send an enquiry or request a quote, we collect your name, phone number and, if you give them, your email address, the service you are interested in, your site location and your message. We only ask for what we need to reply and plan your project.

How you use the site

If you allow analytics cookies, we collect information about how the site is used: pages viewed, buttons clicked, approximate location, device and browser type, and how you arrived. This is measured with Google Analytics (through Google Tag Manager) and Microsoft Clarity, which can also record anonymised session replays of clicks and scrolling. We don't use these tools to identify you personally.

Your cookie choice

Your cookie preferences are saved in your own browser so we don't ask again on every visit.

Why we use it

• To reply to your enquiry and arrange calls or site visits.
• To prepare estimates, proposals and contracts you ask for.
• To keep a record of our conversations about your project.
• To understand which pages help visitors, so we can improve the site (only with your analytics consent).

We rely on your consent for enquiries and analytics. We don't sell your data, and we don't send marketing messages unless you ask us to.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of service providers who process data on our behalf and only as we instruct:

• Our customer relationship management system (GoHighLevel), which stores enquiries so our team can respond and follow up.
• An email automation service that notifies our team when a new enquiry arrives.
• Google (Analytics and Tag Manager) and Microsoft (Clarity), for site analytics, only if you accept analytics cookies.
• Our website hosting provider, which runs the site.

Some of these providers store data outside India. We only share what each one needs. We may also disclose data if the law requires it.

Cookies and your choices

Essential storage keeps the site working and remembers your cookie choice. Analytics and marketing cookies are off until you switch them on in the cookie banner. You can change your choice at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser, which brings the banner back.

Project videos play from YouTube in privacy-enhanced mode, which doesn't set YouTube cookies until you press play.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry details for as long as we are discussing or working on your project, and afterwards for as long as we need them for warranty, legal or accounting reasons. When they are no longer needed, we delete them. Analytics data is kept according to the retention settings of Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity.

Your rights

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can:

• ask what personal data we hold about you and how we use it;
• ask us to correct, complete or update it;
• withdraw your consent and ask us to erase it;
• nominate someone to exercise these rights for you; and
• raise a grievance with us, and then with the Data Protection Board of India.

Keeping it safe

The site runs over an encrypted HTTPS connection, enquiries are sent to our systems over secure connections, and access to your details is limited to the people who need them to help you.

Children

This site is meant for adults planning a home. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
