A construction supervisor keeps an independent eye on your build. The job is to catch mistakes early, before they are hidden under plaster or concrete.

We verify foundation and structural work. We check the quality and quantity of materials, and we monitor concrete and steel. We review workmanship against the drawings and track the schedule. You get regular reports with photos, so you always know what is happening on your site.

Some mistakes are expensive to undo once the next stage begins. That is why we pay close attention to these stages.

• Foundation

  The foundation must suit the soil. Kerala has laterite, soft and waterlogged ground, so we check the foundation is built as designed for your plot.

• Structure

  We check the steel and concrete in columns, beams and slabs before and during each pour. Once concrete sets, errors are hard to fix.

• Waterproofing

  Kerala’s monsoon is hard on any building. We check waterproofing on roofs and wet areas before it is covered up.

Good supervision starts before the first site visit. We agree what we are checking against, and how you will hear from us.

• 1. Review the Drawings

  We study the approved architectural and structural drawings and the specifications. If there is a BOQ (bill of quantities), we use it to check materials and quantities on site.

• 2. Agree the Scope

  You choose full-build supervision or selected stages. We agree how often we visit and which stages we must see before work moves on.

• 3. Visit, Check and Report

  On each visit, we inspect the work and take photos. Then we report to you. If something is wrong, we raise it with you and the contractor straight away.

Many owners who hire us live outside India. You get regular photo and video updates and written reports. You can also speak to your supervisor directly. You don’t need to fly home to see a slab before it is poured. We check it for you and show you what we found. If you want us to build the home as well, our construction team can take on the whole project.

There are two common ways to charge for supervision. One is a monthly retainer based on how often we visit. The other is a percentage of the project cost, commonly around 2–5%. The right model depends on your project size and how many site visits you want. We agree it in writing before we start.
